Target Group
Why did we choose Truus as our target group?
Truus is a retired woman who likes to go on holiday now and then. Truus does not need to go on holiday in the peak season, which is beneficial since there will be customers throughout the whole year. Truus is someone who can have a lot of stress before she goes on holiday: are the suitcases packed? Do we have everything? We need to be at the airport on time because we still need to check-in and deliver the suitcases. She will make sure to be 4 hours in advance of her flight departure so that there is enough time.
That's why this service system works excellent for Truus.
She can pack her suitcases a day before she goes away and the stressful check-in will be taken care of for her. The holiday can practically start one day before departure!
Requirements
To continue developing the design for the suitcases, requirements are created. The requirements are:
General requirements:

The luggage should have a recognizable appearance such that the customer can recognize the suitcase immediately.

The luggage should be scratch resistant.

The handles of the luggage should be ergonomicly pleasing.

There should be at least two ways to carry / move the luggage.

The luggage should make it easy to hold the telescopic handle in a comfortable way.

The luggage should offer a comfortable grip for hands of different sizes.

The luggage must withstand rough handling.

The user should not be able to cut themself on any sharp edges of the luggage.

The luggage should be able to stand on its own.

The luggage should be cleanable to a degree that no dirt, stains, or any other filth can be detected inside.

It should be able to replace parts of the luggage that are damaged or broken so the whole suitcase is fully repairable.

The Locks must be easy to reset, in as few steps as possible by the user.

Ideation
After the requirements were done, the ideation phase could start. We chose to design our own suitcases because it would be more advantageous if we would sell a large amount of suitcases. Also, customers would immediately recognize our suitcases as Suited Case, which is beneficial for the promotion of our company.
